Wow, I cant believe these beautiful children are mine! I learn so much from them daily! Being a mother is the most precious gift. And very humbling...I can not do it on my own. I look at my chunky blue eyed beauty, and though she has only been here for three months I cant imagine life without her. Her smile is addicting! I will never get enough of it. And my handsome Carter man, he is so sweet and genuine. He is my little shy guy and absolutley his Daddy's boy.His giggle is contagious! And last but not least, my spunky miss attitudey Nikki. She is a leader and has such a strong personalitly. Her emotions hang on her sleeve or they come out of her mouth:) She is a sweetheart, and has taught me more about myself than anyone ever has. My sweet Lane, seriously the love of my life. When I think of how hard he works, I have no reason to complain. I try to enjoy each day but I cant help to be anxious til the weekends when I get to spend time with him. He makes me the happiest and luckiest girl on earth. Im blessed to be married to such an amazing man. Thanks for making my world a better place!

A few months ago I went to a funeral for an old friend from highschool. When I was there I met his sister for the first time, we started talking. I told her about Becca, my sister that had passed away. With tears in our eyes she asked,

"Does the sting ever go away?"

I knew exactly what "sting" she was talking about. I said yes, and acknowledged to her the blessings that came from my trial rather than the sorrow. Thankully the "sting" does go away but there are still days where I cry. Because I miss her, and her laugh and our sisterhood!
So here is to you Becca... Remembering you!!!

On Lanes side of the family they have an awesome tradition that I will pass on to my family. Its "Happy Days" . Each month on the day you were born is your "happy day". Everyone calls you or text you to tell you happy day and if your lucky you get a treat, at their house I dont think they do thier chores. Today is Ellie's happy day! Cant believe she is already a month old!!

3 weeks with 3 kids

Its been a little over three weeks and I think I am finally getting adjusted to having three kids. Ok thats an understatement, I dont know when I will ever be adjusted but I got ready today so thats got to mean something. :) Everyday Nikki and Carter wake up and ask if they are going to Nanna and Papa's or Grammy and Pop's, that tells you how much appreciated help I have got in the past few weeks. Life is CRAZY, but so amazing! Three kids is exhausting but so fun! They bring so much joy into my life! Nikki is my little baby sitter, she holds Ellie all day and when she is not holding her this is what I hear
" Mom can I hold Ellie please?"
Me- " I have to *feed her" ( *or change diaper, burp...)
"Please Mom, just for one minute, I never get to hold her"

Carter loves Ellie too, but most of the time would rather go play than hold her. Ellie is surrounded at tummy time though. When Nik and Carter see that I am about to give her some tummy time they go grab all the little rattles they can find and lay down on the floor with her.

She is a week old today! Ellie Mae was born Feb. 17 weighing 8 pounds 2 ounces! She is precious and we are so excited to have her in our little family! It is still so unreal. Nikki and Carter just mall her to death with hugs and kisses and beg to hold her!

Last night we were driving home from my parents house, we were almost home when Nikki said something that made Lane and I stop and look at eachother. First of all Nikki always ask me "Mom do you remmeber this? " and "Mom do you remember that?" So we were driving in the car, just quietly listening to music, no one was talking, and these are Nikki's exact words.." Mom do you remember when I gave Becca hugs when we got sealed in the temple?"(*Becca is my little sister that passed away) WOW!! Of course I teared up!! What an amazing little spirit she has, Nikki was only 7 months when we got sealed as a family! I will never forget that moment!!

I will start with me, I am now the shape of a large balloon! I feel like I could pop any day and still have a month and a half left! And who knew "nesting" could be so fun! I love being overly obsessive of the speck of dirt on the baseboards after I cleaned them or the little fingerprints on the fridge. Not really, some days I really wish I didnt care. Also does crafting and cooking come with the cleaning! I will blog soon about all the crafts I have done lately!! And for the first time I bought chicken in bulk, cooked and then froze it! I am a still a little overwhelmed by the thought of three, but also So excited for another addition to our family!

Lane is doing the same thing! Working his tushi off at work and school! HE is THE MAN! The kids have had a hard time with him going back to school and work with all the Holidays! They love their Dad so much!

Nikki... Im so glad I will have a newborn again to dress up! Nikki is the hardest in the mornings! I have to choose my battles and I am done fighting about what she wears, so please dont judge me when you see her in leopard pants and a green polk-a-dot shirt! And if you see her on a regular basis you will notice her hair is in pigtails everyday!!! Not my choice either! But it gets us out the door and makes her very happy!

Carter...I need advice!! The last few days my 18 month old has been taking off his pants and wanting to go sit on the potty! And we are talking every ten minutes! It is not fun! He doesnt go and he makes me sit there with him! I would never thinks hes ready but I do not want to say no to him!

The other day I let Carter play with my phone, I figured I would just call it later with Lanes phone and find it. Well the next morning Lane went to work and I had not called my phone. But I thought no biggie I will find it. I searched EVERYWHERE!! I even looked in the trash, no phone, BUT 1 sippy cup, 1 sippy cup lid, and 1 of Nikki's brand new sneakers. Carter has been putting things in the trash lately. Im so glad I looked and I did end up finding my phone, he had hid it behind the blinds on a window seal in our room.

When we went to Roberts Craft the other day Nikki and Carter each got a free balloon. Of course by the time we got to the car there was only one. Nikki had accidentally let go of the string. With a sad face she looked at me and said "My balloon went to Becca, Mom?" How tender! She had remembered from special events like Becca's birthday or anniversary of her passing we let go of balloons and "give them to Becca." It is so amazing what a two year old acknowledges.

Today I did my second official race!! This one was a 10k at Sugarhouse Park. I LOVE IT! It is the greatest accomplishment when you cross the finish line. My main goal is to never stop, to just keep running the whole way. At times I reallllly didnt think I could make it, and I did!! I wish I had some pictures but our camera is acting funny and the images are really really dark!

Nikki has learned something new! And its one of the worst things yet!!! She opens our front door!!! I cant go to the bathroom or blow dry my hair without frantically worrying if she is going to open the door and escape. So Nikki got out of the house the other day and of course Carter follows after( he goes straight for the street). I am wearing my garments, I grab a blanket from the couch and just throw it on me. I cant even get a shirt on Carter is that quick! I pray no one will see me.. but it was inevitable a sister in my ward walked by! OF COURSE! And of course my blankets falling off cause i am holding Carter in one arm and grabbing Nikki with the other! I said "hi" and walked backwards so my whole backside wouldn't be exposed. It is time for a top lock!

Another year has gone by... Last night we had a girls night with my Mom and sisters and went and saw the movie "Sister's Keeper". All I could think about were Becca's "lasts", her last smile, as we were on our way home 4 years ago to this day we blasted the music and were dancing like no tomorrow except for Becca. I was sitting next to her and and she was looking out the window, I said "Whats wrong" she replied with "nothin" but her smile at the moment is what will linger in my heart forever.

Her last day, in the afternoon we ate pepperoni and read scriptures. And some which is too sacred to share, like our last goodbye.

No one knows when their time will come, LIVE TODAY, LIKE THERE IS NO TOMORROW!!!

We have been spoiled this Summer with Lane and I's trip to Cali and then our recent vacation to Bear Lake. There was about 40 people in the cabin we were staying in so you can imagine Nikki and Carter having a blast with all their second cousins. Also Nikki had a hayday with all the shoes she was able to try on. My favorite day was when we went to Bear Lake, but we also went on a hike, to a cave, and the kids even broke a pinata. It was a fun break and we were back in time to see the fireworks!

My very first sewing maching project!! I made these cute p.j's for Nikki!!! I have so many projects I want to do, its fun to do something I love!

I made this family tree for my wonderful Mom's for Mothers Day! It was so much fun! Also very inexpensive, I searched the DI's a few times for frames and then painted them with crackled paint, and then I hand sewed the leaves and sewed the tree.I now want to make one for myself!I love love love the vintage style!!

Today, or I should say the last three days I have been SO spoiled!! 21 years ago today this world got an angel(says Lane) or a devil child (says devil grandma) or a hellion(says my Dad). Either way I came and I am getting So OLD!!! I still feel like I am 18!! Lane got me a bike and yes, ( I wanted it ) the HANNAH MONTANNA SOUNDTRACK!! Clothes and took me to Tepanyaki on Friday. Not to mention made this day extra special with flowers, breakfast, and let me sleep in. Lane's parents got me a SEWING MACHINE!! Im soooo excited to use it!! And his brothers and sisters got me this HOT zebra purse/ big enough to use as a diaper bag and filled it with sunglasses and candy.We also went out to Iggy's last night for my birthday dinner. My parents got me this cute cute wall decoration that says " These are a few of my favorite things" and you hang pics on it!!! Today we did a big birthday bash at their house with a wonderful dinner and cake!! And my sis Tina made me this cute headband that I love! Im incredibly blessed to have so many wonderful family members!! I love you guys!! And you made my 21'st birthday the BEST!!

Its sad I am blogging on vacation but... my kids are taking naps and Lane gets to watch a little March Madness! So we are in St. George, and I chopped my hair! I feel like I havent blogged in FOREVER! But our computer was down because our power cord was broken. We are staying with one of my best friends from Highschool. Last night we went to dinner and to the park and played some basketballs and cards. Today we went hiking and to a little water park that Nikki loved.

Today we were driving in the car and the sun was shining in her face and Nikki said "Mom, light off". It was so cute!
We went to the park a couple days ago and she kept saying, Im so cited!!(excited)
Lately Nikki says to me "Mom, Look at this!" And sticks her tounge out at me.haha little squirt!
Whenever we pull up to a store she yells "Walmard"!
Or.. when we leave our driveway she says " We made it!" (cause in the winter it took a few tries.)
Lane taught Nikki to say "Hot Mama!"
She is a handful, but she makes up for it!! The little things always make me smile the most!!

Our fish died today of natural causes.. ok so, I accidentally dropped him in the disposal while cleaning out his bowl. I promise I tried to revive him. I left the water going, got a spoon and a flashlight but just couldnt get him out. I did not have the courage to put him out of his misery and turn it on. We will not be using that side of the sink for awhile in memory of him. WE LOVE YOU PLUTO!!!

I will admit it, blogging has been put on the backburner lately. But I feel like I have been doing some productive and fun things. I am making the CUTEST quiet book for Nikki!!( and if you saw her at church you would know its a priority ). I am also making a quilt as I learn to sew. My sister, Mom and my sister's mother in law all get together once a week and snack and sew. I cant wait to show you guys both of these things. I got this vintage flower fabric, Im so excited! Also I have been playing on a basketball rec league. If you saw me play now you wouldnt guess I played in Highschool, but thats ok, it will always be a love of mine. Also I am going to start playing church ball. Besides that, running after my rambonxious? two year old, finding time to bond with Carter and hanging out with my husband its been pretty busy.

Lane and I switch nights reading the kids books for bedtime, tonight it was his turn and I just didnt want him that far so I went and cuddled up to him on the floor in the kids room.
When..its hard to go to sleep cause I know I wont see him til morning, or usually til the next night cause he wakes up so early for work.:(
When..your house goes to pieces whenever he is home, its the last thing I want to do when he is there
One phonecall change the way your whole day is going,
Or when you cant help but to smile and think of him while your listening to a love song( or even cry, yes I cried last week when i was listening to "your my best friend" by tim mcgraw, Im just so lucky!!)
When you start loving their little habbits even though they drive you CRAZY! Example: takes off and leaves his socks underneath the table while doing homework, or not shutting the cupboards..lol

Nikki's Haircut

We have been debating on getting Nikki's haircut for awhile, but when she got gum in it we had no choice. There is no pictures of Nikki getting her haircut cause she was sitting on my lap. She loves her new hair, you can tell by the way she swirls it around or you can just ask her. It took me a few days to get use to( cause the lady butched her bangs) but I do like it now.

Nikki has been so excited about Santa. Im suprised because I really thought she was too young this year. She talks about him a lot during the day. Well talking is different then sitting on his lap. She was scared the first time but after Santa gave her a little treat she lightened up to him. Carter, didnt even notice someone else was holding him.

On thursday we had a run in with the Emergency Room. It all started at my parents house. Nikki came up from downstairs spitting up, Lane immediatley told her to take him to what she ate. Nikki led him straight to my sister and cousins room where she had gotten into some medicines. Im so glad I went to Super Saturday cause during the saftey lesson they gave us poison controls number to put in our phone. It was so convient to just have it right there. So we called and their words were " How fast can you get to an emergency room?" They called the E.R and told them we were coming, we sat there for five hours observing Nikki, taking two blood draws an E.K.G test and drinking charcoal chocolate milk. She is fine and we are so glad.

Today is a new beginning. Some say this is one of the hardest things in parenthood. Its POTTY TRAINING. I have read the books, been observing and picked today for specific reasons to start. I still cant belive I have a child old enough to be potty trained.We decided to go cold turkey on diapers and put her on the potty every 25 minutes to begin with. If you have any tips, please share.

Nikki has been copying people since she was three months old. She would pucker her lips and coo back at you at that age. Now that she can speak I wish she wasnt such a copier. In some ways its good, she is a fast learner but we definitly have to be careful. Right now I feel like a bad Mom, Nikki is saying the word "fetch" whenever she gets hurt. It was kind of cute the first time, not so much anymore. She is a wonderful example to me and will help me with the little things I do and dont even notice. Also Lane and I were arguing the other day( we all do it ) and Nikki all the sudden said "Stop Guys". I was ashamed, it made me really stop and realize she is watching. Her little two year old self brings the strongest spirit into our home. She really helps me to be a better person.

Nikki ate what???!! As I was doing my daily duty of diaper changing I noticed something quite shiny. As I was wiping Nikki's sweet little cheeks I was trying to think what she could of ate that would look like that. I couldnt think of anything. So, yes, I got a diaper wipe and got it.... It was a marble!!! A blue shiny flat marble( like the Mancala ones ). I thought it was pretty funny, only because everything was ok. But it could of been really scary, I have trouble swallowing a prenatal pill. I cant even imagine a marble!!

The reason for this post was Carter's first tooth is visible (its like a speck) but it just made me reallize even more how fast they grow up. Carter is the best baby, he has his days. But you usually can find him giggling or smiling. He is so happy.. Carter loves to play peek a boo with Nikki in the backseat of the car. He loves to be sung to and LOVES to nurse!!

Nikki is my little sweetheart!! She knows how to make anyone smile, or cry. haha... She is a handful but also so sweet and tender. Nikki loves to get her highheels on and push around her baby stroller with her purse. She LOVES to make messes!! She loves food and kisses. Whenever Lane and I hug she says " My Mommy".."

And I have SO much to be grateful for!! You know when you have your high and lows in life. Well the last couple weeks have been stressful. Lane has been working tons of overtime and goes straight to school then comes home to do some homework. He is stud, and I dont know why I am complaining when he is the one working so hard. Well
I had a reality check and realized the million things I take for granted each day!
Just to name a few... Of course my wonderful husband and two prescious kiddo's, my beautiful home, our family's (wilkes and yarn's), the gospel(temples,scriptures...) our country. I could go on all day!!

It lets us be spontaneous and JUMP IN PUDDLES!!! Usually I am all over the place trying not to let Nikki get dirty. Yesterday I got Nikki out of the car and as I was getting Carter she ran and jumped in a puddle. I had my boots on and it looked kind of fun so I joined in. Nikki was having a BLAST!.. and I got some super cute pictures.

I loved waking up this morning to a bed of snow. It was kind of a lazy day today, we stayed home and watched the Grinch and I just wore a sweatshirt and jeans. For lunch we had some soup and hot chocolate. (This is where it gets a little exciting)... So I made some clam chowder, Carter was content in his carseat so I just left him in there while we ate. I seriously left the room for two seconds, and this is what I came back to...
SO BAD, I KNOW!! But Carter seemed to like it and it was too late,so all I could do was laugh:)Nikki gave Carter some good ol' clam chowder.

Last Wed. morning we packed our stuff and headed to Medford,Oregon! We had such a blast. The 14 hr car ride is not ideal with a 21 month old and a 4 month old. Thank goodness for the song little bunny foo foo to keep Nikki happy, and we figured out a new way of nursing so we wouldnt have to stop so much...The reason why we left was for my cousins wedding, which was beautiful. We mostly enjoyed one anothers company cause we dont see eachother often. One of the days the boys went out on a fishing trip. Here are some fun pics...Look at that little baby face!

Yesterday was Becca's 16th birthday!! I cant imagine her driving and dating!! My sister and her husband made the most wonderful video of Becca, they took every video clip we had of her and more and made it into something we will cherish forever. Even though yesterday was one of the hardest days I have had in a long time, I love when we get together as a family and close friends and rejoice for Becca. I cant even comprehend what people go through when they lose a loved one and dont know they will see them again.

Friday after Lanes class we headed up to Idaho to meet Lane's family at Gpa and Gma Wilkes for Conference weekend. I was so excited for the car ride ( really ), there are so many distractions usually, and I was just excited to sit and talk to Lane for 4 hours. It was way fun there, Nikki had a blast, she ran wild the whole time. And it was a good little break from home. Not to mention conference, AMAZING! I love having a little family of my own!! My greatest happiness has come from being a wife and a mother. I love my life!!

The bet is on!! Lane and I are having a competition who can lose the most weight by December 1st. Both our goals our 15 pounds but whoever loses the most wins. We dont have a bet yet. We were thinking something like diaper duty for a week,(but Lane works so I will end up with it anyways ), and then Lane said if he loses he will do the house cleaning for a month ( He obviously doesnt know how much I clean during the day). I got my wisdom teeth out Friday morning.Suprisingly,it went really well.I still havent had any real pain, just discomfort. Probably because the dentist gave me four medications to take. I discussed with him that I am breastfeeding and he said I would be just fine.Friday night, around one Carter woke up crying. He wasnt breathing for about 3-4 seconds and then let out another cry and would do this consistently. I called the on call doctor bawling, I was so scared. He said that he thought Carter was having respitory distress and to take him into the E.R. When we got there Carter was doing fine. Thats what always happens! But we found out what was wrong. One of the medications I was taking for my wisdom teeth was affecting him. I had to stop breastfeeding for 24 hours and they sent us home with an inhaler for him. We came home and read the medication instructions, in bold letters it says THIS MEDICINE CAN CAUSE SERIOUS AND SOMETIMES FATAL BREATHING PROBLEMS IN CHILDREN LESS THAN 2 YEARS OF AGE. Scary huh?!! I guess the dentist thought it would be dilluted enough, but since Carter has already had some problems with his respitory it wasnt. Well Carter is ok now, just about to give his mama a heart attack.

I have been reading this book called "The Message", its about a LDS man who dies, he goes into a lot of detail of the spirit world but ends up returning because he hadnt fufilled the promises he made to God long ago. After I fell asleep at the wheel,which resulted in my sisters passing, I went through some major trials. Some not by choice and others brought upon by my doing. I let myself slip into a deep depression. I seriously felt like I was a different person. I became very suicidal and for some time it was like my family and freinds were battling with me to stay here. Well miraculously I got through this, and how grateful I am for that. Because I had not fulfilled my promises I made to Heavenly Father long ago. I have already accomplished so much in the last two years. I have brought two of the most beautiful sweetest spirits into the World, and bound a family forever. Im grateful for second chances!!

This week we were able to go to WolfCreek for a family reunion. It was a lot of fun, with a lot of smiles. Carter is smiling back at you now, its so fun! It was a special day in our family yesterday. Baby Carter was blessed by Lane. It was a beautiful blessing, Lane did a great job. Its so fun when we all get together as an extended family. The preisthood powers are AMAZING! Im thankful for a wonderful husband who holds it with honor!!

He's Home, and Healthy!

So Carter was able to come home Monday afternoon from the hospital. They wouldnt release him till he was able to take a two hour nap without his oxygen level dropping. Sunday night Carter slept the whole night without dropping once. It was like a miracle! I believe it was all the prayers and fasting from family and freinds. Thanks so much for everyones love and support. Carter had a two day post hospital check up today and everything looked really good. I love having him home!!

Our Sweet Little Baby!!

Keep our little Carter in your prayers. It all started Wednesday night out of no where,Carter got congested. He struggled all night long. Thursday was a Holiday, so thank goodness we have an on-call doctor. We called first thing in the morning to set up an appointment. We took him into the doctor, he could tell he was struggling to breathe. He sent us to the hospital to get an x-ray of Carter's chest. After a long wait they came back with the results that Carter has bronchitis and on the border line of pneumonia. But they sent us home and told us to carefully watch him. As soon as we got home it seemed like Carter got worse. So we took him back to the doctors office. He gave us the option to admit Carter into the hospital. We decided to go home and pray about it. After we prayed we both felt that admitting him was the right thing to do. Carter has now been in the hospital since Thursday night. It is not life threatening, he is just struggling to keep his oxygen up. It is so sad to see our little guy like this. Hopefully we will be able to take him back home soon! Get better soon Carter! We love you!!

Three years ago today my sweet little sister Becca passed away in a tragic car accident. O, how that day has changed so many lives. Through Becca,and my experiences with her death I have grown so much as a person. In a way Im grateful for the trial. Its been a bittersweet three years. We miss her SO much, but we know that families can be together forever!! The gospel is TRUE!! The resurection is REAL!! And someday, what a wonderful and joyous day that will be, I will give my Becca Boo the biggest hug and see her beautiful smile again! Thank goodness for the the truth that gives us peace and hope to get us through the trials of this life. Love you and miss you Becca!!!!

Really, I have had no time to blog!! Im think Im finally getting use to the fact I have two kids!! Its tough! Sadly, Nik has been taking it a little roughly. She has a love/hate realationship with him! Carter is a good baby!He would be even a better baby if he could feed himself and change his diapers. Even though the last few weeks have been a little stressful, and tiring, we wouldnt change it for anything. Wow!!! He is finally here! Our sweet little Carter joined our family yesterday at 6:02 a.m. He was 7 lbs. 15 oz. and 21 inches long!! We love him so much!!! Well I havent posted for a little while, heres what we have been up to! Orem fest and parade,fireworks, my sister having her baby(he is so cute!! Will post more about him) , rodeo, owlz game, window shopping at the mall, swimming, and lots more!!! My freinds from the ward even gave me a baby shower, which was a lot of fun. And the Sargents and the Mortensons suprised me and painted the nursery!!! I love it!!We have had so much fun the last few weeks. I really love this song! Last night we were lucky enough to attend Ward's baptism. (Lane's cousins son). I have never been to a baptism where the spirit was not there. Its such a beautiful experience! I am grateful for the example of children, and the oppurtunity we have to repent and improve ourselves each day.

Nikki doesnt!! We took them all away yesterday afternoon. It was really hard! She was so fussy running all over the house saying Binty (binky). We just kept telling her its all gone. It was kind of sad. Last week when i went for her checkup i was asking the Doctor about when i should take away her binky, the doctor said right now since we are having a baby in a month because then she would want it for a whole other year and would steal the babies. So we tried last week, and gave up but yesterday we actually did it. I thought nights and naps would be the worst. She went to sleep fine and slept like the baby that she is. No more binty!!

* Today she has only asked for it twice which is amazing, when I came on the computer to write this blog she was sitting by me, she saw the pictures of her sleeping and pointed to her and said "binty". haha

I have an excuse this time though, a big ol belly. Lane and I went after our ward activity which consisted of kickball and sundaes. I think I should of stretched before these activites. haha. Anyways it was fun to be with my hubby, fall in love with him more each day!

Im so grateful to be able to stay home with Nikki. Every day is a new adventure!! Yesterday we went and fed some horses. Nik had mixed emotions about that, she was quite scared but I think she really had fun. I will admit i was a little nervous myself. I didnt want her hand to get bit.Then we came home and Nikki and Ty helped Kristina an d I make some cookies. Nikki is turning into a little girl. She can really understand a lot, even more than I think, and she is learning so many new things. I asked her today if she was going to help me when the new baby comes and she looked at me and shook her head yes. It was so cute!

Sweet Dreams

Finally! A Solution! So Nik has never been fond of her crib, in fact for most of her little life she has been sleeping in our bed. We felt like there was no hope she hated her crib, she would seriously stay awake and cry all night then sleep in there. But the second we put her in our bed she would be out. Trust us, the new baby wont get in that habbit. So anyways, yesterday we came up with the solution to get her a bed of her own. Crossing our fingers it was just the crib she hated so much but we were so hesitant cause she can just get right off. Well we tried it anyway. The crib we bought coverted into a bed so we made the change. You could tell she liked it, she could see out, she was pointing all over. We put her in it, tucked her in and turned off the lights, honestly thinking she would just follow us right out of the room. She whimpered for a couple minutes off and on but stayed in the bed. I was shocked! She usually wakes up around 12 and again at 3. She didnt until 5:30! Isn't that crazy! At 5:30 I heard her, she had got out of her bed, we called her name and Lane went to go get her and she ran from him. It was very funny! After that she did come sleep in our bed til 7 but who cares, its a start!

My Wonderful Family

So yesterday I was really emotional. I was holding back the tears on every show we watched but finally when we saw the end of the movie "Where the heart is" I just couldnt hold it back anymore. I got really teary eyed. Lane just smiled, I could tell he was holding back from laughing at me. But I was crying because not only am I pregnant, but because I was overwhelmed with how lucky I am for Lane and Nikki. Lane is truly my best freind and he makes me so happy. I always smile when I think of him. And Nikki is my little precious baby! She brings so much laughter in our home. She is our little pride and joy! And now thinking of having another little newborn soon just breaks my heart. Im so grateful for an AMAZING family! Being a wife and a mother is a blessing and nothing can compare. Today is our one year anniversary since we went to the temple and recieved our endownments. It was one of the best days we have had!

So a lot has happened since I have posted last. Its seems like Nikki has grown up so much just in the past week and a half. She has learned SO many new things. I finally turned 20 last week! I am not a teenager anymore! haha! I feel a lot older. This weekend we went on a short vacation to St George. It was so much fun! The best part was just being with eachother. But we went swimming, mini golfing, shopping at the outlets, to the batting cages and lots more. Lane and my Dad got up early one morning and went golfing. We went and hung out with my best friend Heidi from High School, and met her fiance. Nik even learned some new words on vacation, she learned hot, ice, and walk. Lane was daring enough to let Nikki jump off the edge of the pool into his arms but get her all the way in the water. She did really good and had fun! Lane is finally done with school too... for the semester. He did so good! He got all A's and one B+. He works so hard for us. We love him so much!!

Today was a very exciting day! My oldest sister Kristina graduated from UVSC in elementary ed. She is such a great example. Im so grateful to have sisters and a Mom as my best freinds.(Besides Lane!) It was a wonderful day to hang out with all the family. We all enjoyed a wonderful meal at Outback Steakhouse afterwards.

Spring Break Week

So this week was filled with fun stuff to do. My little brothers and sisters didnt have school this week because of Spring Break. Everyday we had to have plans. We went to the movies and saw Spiderwick Chronicles, went to the park a few times, had a picture scavenger hunt. Yesterday was Calebs 13th birthday so we went swimming at Lehi pool. Nikki had so much fun! Her favorite part was jumping off the side into my arms. She looks so cute in her swimsuit. You can see all her rolls. That night we had huge shrimp for dinner! My favorite! Its been fun!
